The original surface was installed over 10 years ago in Star Galaxy granite. The customer wanted to lift the kitchen and brighten it up. They stayed with the sparkle by choosing White Shimmer quartz. Taking out granite is our biggest challenge when replacing work surfaces as it is very heavy. We had to take off upstands that were stuck on the wall then tiled down to, We managed to take out the black granite and upstands without damage to the walls or tiles. Worktop replacement is a good option and much more affordable if you want a revamp!
